By Car

Take the "ruta 5" (Panamericana) until La Serena. In La Serena follow the "ruta 41" indicating the Elqui Valley. Stay on this road. You will pass Vicuña. About 10 kms after Vicuña you pass the village Rivadavia. Right after you have to turn right (there are signs) in direction Paihuano, Montegrande, Pisco Elqui. This road will bring you directly to Pisco Elqui. You will need aprox. 1,5 hours to get there (from La Serena).

By Bus

In La Serena, take the bus (aprox. every hour) from the central bus terminal (Terminal de Buses). There are two companies, Via Elqui or Sol de Elqui. The buses go till Pisco Elqui. You will need about 2,5 hours to get to Pisco Elqui. Price is between 1.500 and 1.700 Pesos. You can also take a "colectivo" (shared taxi) from La Serena center until Vicuña, and from there take a bus to Pisco Elqui (this is faster, but also more expensive)

By plane

From the airport "La Florida" in La Serena take a taxi or colectivo until Vicuña and then take the bus. Or you can also take the bus directly from the airport (stop is right on the other side of the street). Ask also your hotel for transfer, some offer this service or can at least organize a transport. There are "regular" taxis going from Pisco Elqui to La Serena and back, but reservation is necessary.
